Brigitte Nielsen has accomplished so much in her life. She has been an actress, model, singer, and reality star who has made serious real estate investments on the side. She has also kept her fame stable since she started working in the ‘80s with films such as Red Sonja and Rocky IV. However, upon entering her 50s, Nielsen did not give up having a baby of her own. At 54, Nielsen successfully gave birth to her daughter Frida with longtime husband Mattia Dessi.

After more than a decade of trying in-vitro fertilization, the couple successfully conceived their child. Nielsen said in an interview that she never gave up on her dream to become a mother until there were no embryos left from her. Upon learning of her pregnancy, she kept it a secret to her family members, even to her mother to surprise them. Despite other people’s comments on her choice of having a baby at an old age, she stands on her opinion that it is not anybody’s business.
