Geena Davis is an award-winning actress who rose to fame in the early ’80s. Davis’s busy schedule as an actress, an advocate for media equality, and her work as an executive producer may have been a factor in her choice to conceive later in life. Davis, who has allotted major investments money for her advocacy foundation, Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media, became a first-time mother at age of 46. She embraced motherhood with her fourth husband Dr. Reza Jarrahy, a plastic surgeon.

Despite their age gap of 15 years, Davis was still able to fulfill her dreams of becoming a mother. They married in 2001 and welcomed their first baby Alizeh in 2002. Today, the 65-year-old actress already has three kids, including Kian and Kaiis. In 2018, Davis and Jarrahy decided to end their union and file for legal separation. They remained responsible co-parents to their three offspring.
