Laura Linney certainly knows how to keep a big secret as it was later revealed that she had a baby when she was 49. There weren’t many photos circulating about the actress having a big bump, which is one of the reasons why many are wondering whether she had a baby via surrogacy. The Love Actually star married her second husband, Marc Schauer, back in 2009. They did try to have a family for several years but could not get pregnant.

Fortunately, after the long wait, Linney got pregnant and gave birth to Bennett Armistead in 2014. She never went public with her pregnancy and had carefully concealed her growing baby bump by missing some important awards. Though the actress doesn’t recommend that women get pregnant in their late 40s, she felt blessed that she was given the opportunity to become a mother. Bennett will not have to worry too much about student loans since his parents have enough money for his needs.
