The respected journalist and host herself experienced a medical condition that prevented her from conceiving. When she got pregnant by the age of 48, she was both ecstatic and uneasy.

Hall announced her pregnancy in 2019, when she was already 32 weeks long. She shared that her fear of losing the child along the way prohibited her from announcing the good news. She was informed that at her age, there is a big chance of geriatric pregnancy. She also revealed that she had tried to conceive in her 30s. It was not until her 40s where she realized her chances are getting low. Despite the odds, Hall went through IVF to fulfill her dream of becoming a mother. She credits all the women who are in the situation as her for making her think and feel courageous on her journey as she knows she is not alone.
