Kenya Moore started her career as a model at the age of 14. By 22, she won Miss Michigan USA and was crowned Miss USA 1993. Moore later competed and placed fifth in Miss Universe 1993. She began an acting career after her big win, and as of this moment, she stars in Real Housewives of Atlanta and Family Reunion. Moore got married at the age of 46 to Marc Daly in 2017.

At the age of 47, the model had her first daughter through IVF. According to Moore, she has long contemplated having children. Moore credits her childhood experience for wanting to have an established relationship and a husband before having children. As she reached her forties, Moore found out about her fertility issues that made her consider wanting to have children. After giving birth in 2018, Moore expressed that she wants more children. As of 2019, she and Daly are separated.
