Susan Sarandon | 42 & 45

Susan Sarandon was not in a hurry nor interested in having children when she was younger. At that time, she was diagnosed with endometriosis, a painful condition caused by the growth of tissues outside the uterus which could cause infertility. Her doctors advised her to go through an operation to increase her chance of fertility. Though Sarandon could afford the procedure as she has good insurance, she just discarded the idea and just went on enjoying her youth.

To her disbelief, Sarandon got pregnant and gave birth to her daughter, Eva Amurri, at 39 years old. Despite all odds, the actress embraced her new life as a mother. She was surprised when she got pregnant again at 42. Saradon gave birth to Jack in 1989 with his ex-partner, Tim Robbins. When Sarandon got pregnant again with her son Miles at the age of 45, she realized that she was destined to have a family to care for and love.
