16. Craig Ferguson & Peter Capaldi

If you’re a fan of American talk shows, you probably have heard of Craig Ferguson. The Scottish comedian took over The Late Late Show in 2005 from Tom Snyder until his departure in 2014. Craig’s quick wit and crass humor quickly made him a staple with the insurance of unending laughter from The Late Late Show viewers. My personal favorite is his flirtatious interviews with drop-dead gorgeous actresses, which gave him a presence synonymous with that of a rock star – something unique and matchless among his peers.

Surprisingly, Craig’s type of attitude and presence that he carries may probably stem from the fact that he was part of the punk band The Bastards From Hell back in the 80s. Moreover, he was bandmates with Peter Capaldi. Yes, the Peter who portrayed the Twelfth Doctor from 2013 – 2017 in the iconic Doctor Who series. Interestingly, it was Peter who suggested to Craig to try his luck in the field of Comedy.
