These two also have an adorable friendship, or should we say relationship. Angela Bassett and Courtney B. Vance first met while they were earning their degrees at Yale Drama School. At first, they were just friends since the actor had a girlfriend at the time, and his and Bassett’s relationship wouldn’t start for the next several years. Their paths crossed again in Los Angeles about 14 years later, and since then, they became more than friends.

The power duo tied the knot in 1997 and welcomed their twins via surrogate in 2006. Among their many projects together include writing a book together titled Friends: A Love Story, where they shared their journey to parenthood. Vance won acclaim for his performance as Johnnie Cochran in American Crime Story, while Basset is widely known for portraying biographical film roles. She is most notable for playing Tina Turner.
