In later years, both women became household names, thanks to their parents’ prominence. Kardashian is lawyer Robert Kardashian’s daughter, while Hilton is the great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton. It’s also safe to say that their beauty helped them catapult to fame.

According to her, she was scared of marriage, but after going their separate ways, she realized she was ready to gas up her life by entering into a lifetime commitment with Macy.
Fast forward to two decades later, they are blessed with two daughters. They have been inseparable ever since marrying in 1997. Macy is best known for his performance in the 1996 comedy crime Fargo. One of Huffman’s most memorable roles is Lynette Scavo in Desperate Housewives.

These two also have an adorable friendship, or should we say relationship. Angela Bassett and Courtney B. Vance first met while they were earning their degrees at Yale Drama School. Funny men Justin Long and Jonah Hill have been best friends since they were trying to make it big in the entertainment scene. He said that the 21 Jump Street actor would just recycle everything and left the bathroom door open, and so he got tired and hired a moving company.
Years later, the dynamic duo went on to share the silver screen in the film Accepted. Despite his early remarks, Long pointed out that Hill is one of his good friends, and it is just easy for them to relate with one another. Hill also said that working with his pal makes everything funnier since they enjoy each other’s company. We hope they will have more collaborations in the future!
15. Jay-Z, Biggie Smalls, Busta Rhymes, & DMX
What do Jay-Z, Busta Rhymes, DMX, and Biggie Smalls have in common? Apart from making millions of dollars and recording multi-Platinum albums, they all went to the same high school – George Westinghouse Career and Technical Education High School in Brooklyn, New York, during the 1980s. During those formative years, Busta even recalls doing rap battles with Jay-Z in the cafeteria during lunch. It’s fun to know that these greats had a hand in honing each others’ rap skills that would eventually inspire a whole generation of rappers.
As most of us may know, Jay-Z would later become one of the most successful rappers in history, having multiple business ventures to go hand in hand with his lucrative music career. In the same light, Busta would also amass his fortune with a lucrative degree of success with his rap career. If you’re a fan of American talk shows, you probably have heard of Craig Ferguson. The Scottish comedian took over The Late Late Show in 2005 from Tom Snyder until his departure in 2014. Craig’s quick wit and crass humor quickly made him a staple with the insurance of unending laughter from The Late Late Show viewers. My personal favorite is his flirtatious interviews with drop-dead gorgeous actresses, which gave him a presence synonymous with that of a rock star – something unique and matchless among his peers.
Surprisingly, Craig’s type of attitude and presence that he carries may probably stem from the fact that he was part of the punk band The Bastards From Hell back in the 80s. Moreover, he was bandmates with Peter Capaldi. Yes, the Peter who portrayed the Twelfth Doctor from 2013 – 2017 in the iconic Doctor Who series. Interestingly, it was Peter who suggested to Craig to try his luck in the field of Comedy.

To top it off, he was in the same high school wrestling team with professional wrestling legend Mick Foley. Mick even fondly recalls looking up to Kevin and considered him to be the toughest kid in their school. To be considered as the toughest by the iconic hardcore wrestler known as Mankind goes to show the degree of wrestling prowess Kevin had during his prime.
Kevin, due to several injuries, had to forgo his wrestling ambitions and went on to play college football. Sadly, his injuries persisted, and he eventually decided to drop his pursuit of a professional career altogether. Kevin then turned to stand-up comedy, where he would make a career out of portraying heavyset characters.

Jon Lovitz was a distinguished cast member of the famous sketch show Saturday Night Live. He made a name for himself in Hollywood with his comedy, but he is also a talented actor and singer. Now you might think that singing would be the only thing he has in common with the multi-Grammy award-winning pop star Michael Jackson, but the two of them also grew up in Encino, California.
Surprisingly, apart from growing up in the same area, Jon and Michael shared a deeper childhood connection than one would think. The comedian’s father was the family doctor of the Jacksons. We would say his father had a reasonable degree of success in the field of medicine, considering the Jacksons is a huge family of eleven. They had met on several occasions and can even recall that one time the young Michael almost ran Jon off with his bicycle.
19. MC Hammer & Reggie Jackson
Stanley Burell, professionally known as MC Hammer is a one-hit-wonder popularly known for the song U Can’t Touch This. To his credit, that one song was one of the most famous songs during the ’90s, receiving multiple accolades and a nomination for a Grammy Award for Record of the Year in 1991. Before all the fame and wealth came his way, Stanley grew up financially challenged in Oakland. At 11 years old, he was hired as a batboy by Oakland Athletics’ owner Charles Finley.
While spending his formative years working at the Oakland Coliseum, Stanley got to hang around with some of baseball’s greats – particularly, Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson. Seeing the young rapper’s uncanny resemblance to Hank “The Hammer” Aaron, a fellow baseball Hall of Famer, Reggie dubbed him Little Hammer. The name stuck and he continued on to rise up the ranks from a batboy. Stanley eventually tried his hand at becoming a professional baseball player himself but it ultimately led nowhere and eventually opted to pursue a career as a rapper instead.

They spent their formative years getting their formal education at the same grade school where they became good friends.
As Rick eventually made it big as an actor and comedian on the Second City Television, he would record a comedy album with co-star Dave Thomas as the Mckenzie Brothers. The comedic duo recorded the album under the same label as Rush. Knowing this, Rick sent an invite to his childhood friend, Geddy to sing back-up vocals for one of their tracks, Take Off. To Geddy’s credit, the song remains to be his most successful single, even more so than any of Rush’s songs.

Acclaimed playwright and novelist Samual Beckett is known for his distinguished works such as the play, Waiting for Godot. By the time Andre was 12 years old, he weighed over 240 pounds and was already 6 feet tall. Though this may sound like a good thing, the downside was he was too big to take his local school bus. Fortunately for the young Giant, his father was under the employment of Beckett, who at that time commissioned him to help build a cottage. The two, however, only became good friends when they both did the Australian coming-of-age drama, Flirting in 1991.
After ten years, Nicole was already presenting Naomi an award for her incredible performance in the 2001 surrealist neo-noir mystery film Mulholland Drive. Lauren, luckily, landed a role on Gilmore Girls in 2000 that changed her life, while Connie had to wait until 2006 to be part of the award-winning series. Christina explained that it’s only the media that made issues between them. They wanted Britney to be the good girl, while she would be the bad one because of her image. She would even hear others calling her mean names. It even came to the point that she would feel hurt to a certain degree after seeing a commercial on MTV that made her look like a villain. The truth is, Britney and Christina have an amicable relationship and have always talked to each other whenever they had the chance.

Like many early industry friendships, these two met through an audition. Even back then, it’s really great to know that there has never been competition between them. After all, both actors were vying for a spot, but instead of letting that get in the way of a friendship, these two best buddies just went for it.
Today, DiCaprio still fondly recalls how it all started. According to him, he knew right away that he wanted Tobey to be one of his friends. We’re sure their young selves couldn’t have imagined just how much they would achieve and how far their friendship would go. Today, both are established actors in the industry and have received credit from some of cinema’s biggest names.

The Prince of Pop Justin Timberlake, and former America’s Best Dance Crew judge JC Chasez, were already chums before they became the lead singers of NSync in 1995. I bet you wouldn’t expect where they first met.
The former bandmates became friends in the Disney kids’ show, The Mickey Mouse Club. They initially met when Timberlake became a cast member in 1993 and 1994. The boys became really close friends to the point that the SexyBack singer contacted Chasez and recruited him to be in an all-male singing group that was managed by Lou Pearlman, which ultimately became NSync. Now, they are both still friends and are still hanging out through weekly Zoom calls with the other members of the band.

These two artists actually got to hang out and spent plenty of time together. Hill even attended Braff’s Bar Mitzvah, which just shows how well they got along back then.
Braff even goes on to share a fun little anecdote about their friendship. The two of them participated in a game called Coke and Pepsi, where each person has to take the role of either soda. Depending on what drink the DJ would yell, they had to run across the flooring and sit on the other person’s lap. Braff fondly recalls that at the time, Hill was her partner for the game!

They were part of the show from 1993 to 1995, along with other popular stars of their generation, such as Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. Now, unlike other cast mates, the two artists really developed a close friendship during their time on the show.
In fact, Timberlake’s mother even acted as Gosling’s legal guardian, following the latter’s return to Canada for work matters.Since then, they have both managed to establish very successful careers. One in acting and the other in music. Reports do suggest that they are still good friends and as fans of both, we certainly hope they continue to do so for years ahead. After all, no investment is as valuable as that of a great friendship.
40.Madonna & Debi Mazar
Madonna and actress Debi Mazar have been friends for nearly 30 years, long before the Queen of Pop even dropped her first song. In fact, Mazar was Madonna’s first make-up artist, and she helped put together many gorgeous and iconic looks for the pop diva. The two first met while Mazar was working as an elevator attendant at the Danceteria. Madonna entered the unit she was in and promptly asked her to dance. Just like that, the two hit it off and began spending more time together.
After all, they both shared a great love for dancing! Even back then, Mazar says that Madonna already had a passion for the industry. The latter always talked about becoming a big star one day, and there was never any doubt in Mazar’s mind that it would happen. Are they still friends? With years of investments in their friendship, the two remain close as ever.
41.Jay-Z & Busta Rhymes
At present, they are two of hip hop’s biggest and richest stars. However, these two friends don’t just share a passion for music. Aside from creating rap music together, they have also known each other since their early beginnings. In fact, the two used to duel each other in rap battles back when they were still teens! 42.Elijah Wood & Macaulay Culkin
Being a child actor has a lot of pros and cons. Some of its pros are you’ll get to earn money and don’t have to worry about student loans when you grow up. Its cons, however, can definitely affect a child’s experiences growing up. They’ll be busy with schedules and not have time to actually play like they’re supposed to. Maybe that’s why child actors Elijah Wood and Macaulay Culkin became close friends because they understand each other.
Lord of the Rings star Elijah Wood, and Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin, became up-and-coming child actors around the same time. They first met when they were both casts in the 1993 psychological thriller, The Good Son. The two have enjoyed working together and became friends really quickly. As they grew up, they both walked a different path, but they didn’t let that affect their friendship. The two have such a strong bond and treat each other like brothers.
43.Chaz Bono & Jennifer Aniston
Chaz Salvatore Bono, formerly named Chastity Sun Bono, is the son of the duo Sonny and Cher. As a child, he frequently appeared on his parents’ variety shows. He was enrolled at Fiorello H. He came out to his parents when he was a senior in high school.
Do you know who else attended LaGuardia High School with Chaz? It’s Friends star, Jennifer Aniston. Bono and Aniston were actually classmates in high school before becoming a famous actress. In an interview with Aniston, she remembers hanging out with Chaz and the others at his place a couple of times. To Aniston’s credit, she can confidently say that she is friends with Chaz, and, at the same time, she spent some time in Cher’s house.
44.Courtney Love & Drew Barrymore
In her younger days, party venues would probably call roof repair services after Drew Barrymore partied there the night before as she would surely blow the roof of any place she partied at. Due to this behavior, she crossed paths with Hole lead vocalist Courtney Love. During that time, Love was a prominent figure in the grunge and alternative rock scene and was known for her edgy exploits.
Love first met Barrymore in a club bathroom. They smoked cigarettes and got into talking, and even though there was a huge gap in their age, Barrymore being 19 and Love being 29, there was a mutual understanding between them, and they became kindred spirits. Eventually, Barrymore did end up fixing her image and got her life together, but that wasn’t a hindrance to their relationship. The two women continued to be close, and Barrymore became the godmother of Love and Kurt Cobain’s daughter, Frances Bean.
45.Matt Bomer & Lee Pace
High school is a place where you make friendships that would last a lifetime. You’ll find those bonds in the classroom, during club, or in varsity teams. One such connection is with Magic Mike actor Matt Bomer and Guardians of the Galaxy actor Lee Pace. They both went to Klein High School in Spring, Texas. Bomer, who is an upperclassman, met Pace in the Drama club of the school.
They both enjoyed The Normal Heart, a play by Larry King, which they thought was a contrast to their traditionalist town. After high school, the two went their separate ways, but both still pursued acting. The budding actors also graduated with a degree in Fine Arts, Bomer at Carnegie Mellon University and Pace at Juilliard. As if their story is coming to a full circle, both men got to star in The Normal Heart, Pace is in the Broadway revival, and Bomer is in the HBO adaptation of the play.
46.Taylor Lautner & Victoria Justice
Do you remember a world without online classes and social distancing? That was when these two artists started to bud. During the peak of their popularity, Twilight star Taylor Lautner and Nickelodeon actress Victoria Justice were rumored to have been dating. Justice all but confirmed that the two are just extremely good friends. Media outlets came to this conclusion when the two were spotted with each other, often in public. Justice also says that they have been close friends since they were kids.
The two, and their families, moved to California at around the same time, Lautner in 2002 and Justice in 2003. The Victorious actress said that they’ve known each other since they were 12 years old. In 2006, both were budding celebrities, and it is possible that the two met during a gig in the Nickelodeon studios since Lautner had voice-over roles for some of the shows and Justice appeared in some of the live ones.
47.Tyra Banks & Kimora Lee Leissner (previously Simmons)
The world of modeling and supermodels may look all beautiful and sexy from the outside, but these ladies are out to hunt and can also be vicious to their fellow sisters. That’s why having one or two friends with whom you can go shopping and maximize your credit cards is important. That’s what it’s like with models Tyra Banks and Kimora Lee. They started around the same time and first met as young promising models at Chanel. Banks and Lee became really close friends during that time.
These two women have strong personalities and would never back down from a fight, which is why they were able to cement their friendship instantly. Both have known each other since they were around seventeen and have continued to develop their relationship even through tough times and schedules. Tyra even goes on to mention that Kimora is family to her. Tyra was the maid of honor in her wedding (with Simmons) and is the godmother to Ming Lee, Kimora’s daughter.
48.Brad Pitt & Christina Applegate
When Christina Applegate was just 16 years old, she became good friends with Brad Pitt, an actor in his twenties who was already slowly rising to fame. During that time, she was also getting recognition for her role in the sitcom Married…With Children. The two then decided to try dating each other since they were both so close already. It all ended in 1989 when Applegate brought Pitt as her date to the VMAs then left the event with another man.
Knowing what you know now, who would ever think of ditching the award-winning actor and producer Brad Pitt? Applegate said in an interview that they didn’t see each other after the incident, so it was sort of like a clean break between them. However, looking at Pitt’s record with his marriages and separations, maybe the Anchorman actress made the right decision. It saved her a call to her lawyer asking for legal separation from the World War Z actor.
49.Brooke Shields & Matt Dillon
Forty years ago, back in the ’80s, there were two artists who were on the rise, Brooke Shields and Matt Dillion. Both became close friends rather easily and are practically inseparable. Their apparent closeness sparked rumors that they were romantically involved. Of course, Dillion quickly made it clear that they were just friends. Maybe that’s the real reason why he turned down the role opposite Shields in Blue Lagoon.
Dillon’s reported statement was that he was uncomfortable with the nakedness required in the scenes for the movie. Maybe, he just didn’t want it to be awkward between them. One could only speculate. Although Dillon did deny being together with Shields, it has been reported by multiple sources that the two did date each other. Sadly, their hot air balloon relationship ran out of hot gas and didn’t take off, having only dated for a short while from 1980 to 1981.
50.Aubrey Plaza & John Gallagher Jr.
These next celebrity buddies are the closest we can get to childhood friends on this list. Aubrey Christina Plaza and John Gallagher Jr. were both born in Wilmington, Delaware, in the same year and the same month, June 1984. Gallagher was born nine days earlier than Plaza. The two wanted to pursue acting and first met at a community theater in Delaware doing just that. They both hit it off and became friends immediately. There was a spark between them, so they started dating, but it had no electricity, so in the end, they eventually split up.
Despite being broken up, Plaza and Gallagher remained friends even to this day. Aubrey found her big break in TV when she was cast as April Ludgate in Parks and Recreation and has starred in movies including Scott Pilgrim vs the World, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, and Dirty Grandpa. John, on the other hand, focused on theater and appeared in musicals such as Spring Awakening, where he won a Tony award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical.
51.Sean Penn & Nicolas Cage
The home security systems in our celebrity buddies’ houses must be state-of-the-art since they both made it big in Hollywood. However, before they were huge stars, they were just young men trying to make it big in the acting industry. Nicolas Cage first met fellow actor Sean Penn in Fast Times at Ridgemont High. From then, they become the closest of buds. They got together again in the drama film Racing with the Moon in 1984, where Penn met Elizabeth McGovern, whom he was engaged to briefly.
In the early 2000s, both actors had a falling out with each other. Penn has said that Cage was not an actor anymore but a performer and added that Cage was a sell-out for making movies that were bad but were direct to video. There have been no further reports about their relationship, but it seems like the two are just minding their own business.
52.Corey Haim & Alyssa Milano
These two celebrities don’t need home loans if they want to buy a house since they became successful in their own way. Corey Haim was a Canadian actor in the 1980s and found early success through his films, including Lucas, License to Drive, and Silver Bullet. He became a household name when he partnered up with Corey Feldman in the Lost Boys. The duo, The Two Coreys, became a hit, appearing in multiple movies and a reality TV show.
When Haim was still in the Lost Boys, he befriended Who’s The Boss actress Alyssa Milano and eventually, the two dated from 1987 to 1990. During this time, Haim was having troubles with substance abuse and Alyssa, his parents, and Haim’s former manager tried to get him some help but ultimately failed in their plight. The couple split not long after but still continued to be friends.
